A NTC thermistor comes in a Tape & Reel (TR) package. It is included in the Radial package for convenience. Providing NTC thermistors with a maximum operating temperature of 170°C facilitates reliable operation. In order to maintain reliability, NTC thermistors can operate at a temperature below -55°C. The NTC thermistors will not function properly unless the 2 pins are connected. If the maximum current of the NTC thermistors is set to 3A, then the fuse element will not suffer too much degradation.
