Thermistors from NTC come in the form of a Tape & Reel (TR) package. The package 0402 includes it for convenience. The maximum operating temperature of 125°C allows for reliable operation of NTC thermistors. In order to ensure reliability, NTC thermistors should operate at -55°C as low as possible. It is noted that these NTC thermistors have a total of 2 terminations. To make an NTC thermistor work properly, it needs to have the 2 pins connected.
