The Radial package includes it for convenience. NTC thermistors work reliably at 150°C as their maximum operating temperature. NTC thermistors can operate at a minimum temperature of -40°C without compromising reliability. The terminations on these NTC thermistors total 2 for a total of 2 terminations. The 2 pins of the NTC thermistors must be connected to make the thermistors work correctly. A component of the electronic system is capable of absorbing power dissipation of 3W. It is possible for NTC thermistors to run at a constant current all the way down to 3A without deteriorating the fuse element too much.
