NTC thermistors are packaged as a Bulk. The Radial package contains it for your convenience. NTC thermistors can operate reliably at 170°C because of their maximum operating temperature. For reliability, NTC thermistors can operate at a minimum temperature of -55°C. To make an NTC thermistor work properly, it needs to have the 2 pins connected. The maximum current of the NTC thermistors can be 1.6A without too much deterioration of the fuse element.
