The AMC1211A-Q1 is an isolated precision amplifier in which the output and input circuits are separated by an isolation barrier that is extremely immune to electromagnetic interference. This barrier is certified to provide basic galvanic isolation up to 4.25kVPEAK according to VDE V 0884-11 and UL1577. When used in conjunction with isolated power supplies, this isolation amplifier isolates components of a system operating at different common-mode voltage levels and prevents damage to lower voltage components.
The high impedance input of the AMC1211A-Q1 is optimized for connection to high voltage resistive dividers or other voltage signal sources with high output resistance. The device's high performance enables accurate low temperature drift voltage or temperature sensing and control in closed-loop systems. Integrated high-side missing supply voltage detection simplifies system-level design and diagnostics.
