It is common to find NTC thermistors packaged in the form of a Tape & Reel (TR). The package 0805 (2012 Metric) includes it for convenience. As a result, NTC thermistors need to have a resistance tolerance of ±5%. NTC thermistors should be set to -55°C~125°C temperature in order to provide reliable performance. It is possible for NTC thermistors to operate at a maximum power dissipation of 200mW. If the maximum current of the NTC thermistors is set to 720μA, then the fuse element will not suffer too much degradation.
