In order to prevent damage to the circuit, the contact resistance of mechanical temperature sensors should be set to [0]. For this electronic part to work properly, the minimum operating temperature cannot be lower than [0]. Mechanical temperature sensors, however, are capable of operating at temperatures as low as [0].
