For protection, PTC thermistors are packaged in 1812 packages. Using PTC thermistors at -40°C temperature should be their minimum operating temperature. Ensure this thermistor is working at 85°C by keeping its operating temperature below that. PTC thermistors have terminations of 2. PTC thermistors could operate at 8V voltages. For the current designed for PTC thermistors, 40A has been selected. In PTC thermistors, the current should not exceed 40A.
