Keeping PTC thermistors in 1812 packages prevents them from being damaged. In order to operate the PTC thermistors correctly, the minimum operating temperature should be set to -40°C. In order for this thermistor to function properly, the operating temperature must not exceed 85°C. The PTC thermistor has 2 terminations. It is possible that PTC thermistors operate at 6V voltage. The current for which the PTC thermistors have been designed is 100A. The thermistors have been rated for a voltage of 6V in the DC circuit. A PTC thermistor should not have a current above 100A.
