A 1206 package is used to protect PTC thermistors. Setting the minimum operating temperature of PTC thermistors to -40°C is recommended. The operating temperature of this thermistor must not exceed 85°C. The terminations of the PTC thermistor are 2. As a result, PTC thermistors may supply 6V voltage at all times. The PTC thermistors have been designed to operate at a current of 40A. Ildeally, the current through PTC thermistors should be less than 40A.
