0805L010 Overview
Into 0805 packages, PTC thermistors are put to prevent damage. These PTC thermistors are packaged in the Cut Tape for safety protection. In general, the PTC thermistors should be set to -40°C as their minimum operating temperature. A temperature of 85°C is required to ensure the thermistor works properly. PTC thermistors have terminations of 2. PTC thermistors could operate at 15V voltages. A DC circuit is comprised of these thermistors, which are rated for 15V. A PTC thermistor should produce an amount of heat equal to 500mW. There's no need to exceed 100A current for PTC thermistors.
